Quilt Reveal – swoon #3 + Craftsy Classes and Reviews

Hey, hey!

I’m feeling really irritated today.  I did something really dumb.  It is almost painful just to type this sentence.  I had my cat in my lap, sitting at my computer answering emails.  There was a loud noise, the cat jumped and spilled my tea all over my laptop.  So….. it still works, which is truly a blessing, but the letter before ‘c’ and the letter after ‘m’ is not working.

So even as I type this they are not working and I’m just hoping the spell check picks it up so I can go back and correct it.

I’m looking at my screen now and it is full of red lines.  I may have to use my phone just so you can read this post.

Sigh.  Tiny, daily catastrophes that seem to consume me.  Try typing out a paragraph and not using those letters.  Apparently, according to all the red lines on my screen, they are the most important letters in the English language.

I will ot correct this setece just so you ca see what I’m dealig with here.  See?  Crazy Town.

How to organize Your Swoon quilt and make all your blocks at once

Sewing is one of those things that you can never know all of it.  I have been sewing steadily for 8 years now and there is many many techniques I don’t know.

I’ve been making quilts mostly.  Sewing clothing, plush toys, etc. is a whole other world.  I’ve played with garment sewing a little, but my skills are way under par.

But even with quilts there is still room to learn.  I’m always looking for ways to improve my techniques or even just a better way of doing something.  For this reason, I take classes.

There are MANY places to take classes, but I have been using Craftsy.

There is no monthly fee, and you pay for only the classes that you want to take.  Classes range anywhere from $10-50.  And they have sales often enough where you can get discounts on some classes.  They also offer quite a bit of free classes.
