I make my quilts with a top layer of designer fabrics. I have quilted them to a layer of 100% ALL NATURAL cotton batting in the center, the batting is long staple, virgin cotton that is needle punched with fine needles and about as 'green' as it can get (the softest cotton I've ever touched!), and the back has 100% ALL NATURAL cotton muslin that has been attached to the quilted piece and zig zag stitched for durability.
