Save your memories from a special time in your life, whether it be college days, high school, maternity, or in memory of a loved one.

The quilt pictured was made using clothing from a child's first years and several baby blankets and things of that nature, and I've blended in several fabrics to match and bring the pieces together. The backing is your choice of solid fabric, here it is shown in a hand dyed pink.

Mail me the clothing you would like included, you can mail as many or as few pieces as you like. Your pieces will be cut into 9x9 squares, so understand if some of them are large prints on a tshirt all of it may not make it on a whole block. I will try to make sure I get the good part of the clothing, such as a mongram or an applique or something special that might be on the clothing (I cannot guarantee I can always get it). You can see close up pictures above for examples. Convo me for questions. After purchase I will email you the address to send the clothing to.

Quilt measures approximately 88x96 inches (standard queen size bedding). If you would like a different size, convo me for price quotes. PLEASE NOTE: I use 9x9 blocks. If you purchase this quilt you need to have clothing big enough for me to get that size block out of it. I do not change the size of the block. Tiny onesies and things of that nature will not work. You can see on this quilt that I've cut little cute items off of bibs and appliqued them on a block to make it work. Receiving blankets can supply alot of blocks for this quilt and you are encouraged to send them.

I make my rag quilts with designer fabrics on top or in this case clothing, a layer of 100% ALL NATURAL cotton batting in the center, the batting is long staple, virgin cotton that is needle punched with fine needles and about as 'green' as it can get, and the back has 100% ALL NATURAL unbleached cotton muslin that I have hand dyed the palest shade of turquoise. All edges have been cut and frayed, washed and dried to give it a nice soft, cozy feel.


Because of the nature of these quilts I cannot offer any refunds on them, so please look at my feedback for references on my work.
