First pic is from the lovely Julie of @jules.sewsandquilts . Squee! I am crazy for Julie’s colors and the softness of her quilt. 😍
🤎
Second pic is from sweet Roni of @clearcreekquilts . I love that she made hers in all solids, everything about it pops. I’m also loving the design with all the “claws” in the same fabric.
🤎
I am LOVING seeing all of these! 🐻🐻🐻🐻 and just love seeing how the look changes depending on the maker. Everyone has their own style and the differences make everything more interesting and fun. Don’t you think?! ☺️
For those asking, we have restocked more bundles o For those asking, we have restocked more bundles of Funshine (shown in this quilt) for #sugarbearquilt over @meanderandmake . We had to change three of the fabrics, but it’s still so pretty and orange! There’s also a background option if you are interested. If you click a background option on the site it will show you what these fabrics look like with that background, which is so helpful when you are as obsessed with shades of white solids like me. ☺️

Wandering Quilt – Nicole’s – I.am.blessed – completed

Just in case you are not familiar with traveling quilts here is the idea: Each member of your group creates a starter block and usually writes a journal with details, theme and style they would like their quilt to end up. Then, they send it to the next woman on the list and so on and...

Wandering Quilt – tree of life, Susan’s

I took this picture earlier today in my flower garden.  OR a somewhat flower garden.  It’s basically red orange clay and top soil laid on top.  Only the hardiest of plants have survived it.  The water drains terribly and in the summer the ground in this spot is hard as if it is pure rock.  In a nutshell, the worst spot in all of my yard to have put a flower garden. But it runs by the fence in the backyard, and there is a table with an umbrella nearby that I like to sit...

Hey, hey! Today I’m talking about Wandering Quilt.  Wandering Quilt is a traveling quilt group I’m in that runs January to October of this year. Wandering Quilt – honey bee quilt – the Journal, mine

Friday was the day to finally get this quilt into it’s second stage. You might remember I mentioned that this year, January thru October, I am a member of a traveling quilt group. Everyone starts with a starter block and on January 27th we were to send our starter group to the next person to work on.  Mine went to Susan and she will be working on it in February, while I’ll be working about hers. My quilt was about honey bees. Along with the quilt starter block we were to send a journal that discusses what direction we want...

A wandering quilt – mine, the honey bee quilt

This month I start a journey with a new traveling quilt group called Wandering Quilt. I have done a traveling quilt group before in 2015 and received an incredible quilt that I never posted about.  Maybe I should post that soon.  Here is a pic of that quilt in case you are interested. That project really tested my skills.  Our group had some incredibly talented women and I doubt I measured up, but I was honored to be a part of their group. Just in case you are not familiar with traveling quilts here is the idea:  Each member...
