In a personal note… It’s coming up the 5 year anniversary of losing my grandmother. One of the things about her I miss the most is knocking on her door and when she opened it up she always squealed or gasped and was ALWAYS happy to see me. As if I was a treat. How many people in your for make you feel that way? 🤎 This season is such a time of happiness and loveliness, but there’s sadness there too. And if this time of the year makes you feel sad, I just want to say you aren’t alone. 🤎

Basically a whole month from what I can figure. ⏰ Anyway… there will be more doodle quilting in my future. It’s too fun. Too freeing. Playtime. I felt like a teen not paying attention in class scribbling little drawings all over a notebook. 🥰 I highly recommend! . I quilted on a sit down @berninausa q20 machine. Thread is kimono silk from @superiorthreads . Fabric is my #cloverfabrics collection with random bits of low volume. #southerncharmquilts

Pressing sess. ⭐️ I know not everyone loves st Pressing sess. ⭐️ I know not everyone loves standing at the pressing mat, but I’m kinda a fan. 😅 I’ve got this creamy shag run under my feet and I have the lavender scented pressing spray. Sometimes these little tiny bits of pleasure are enough to make the mundane tasks of quilting feel a little blissful. 🌤️
