๐งต Become a Pattern Tester for Southern Charm Quilts
Are you passionate about quilting and love trying new patterns before theyโre released?
Join my pattern testing team and help shape the final version of each new quilt pattern I create. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and your photos and videos help bring the pattern to life for the quilting community.
๐ What is Pattern Testing?
Pattern testing is different from tech editing (which I handle separately to ensure the math and instructions are accurate). Instead, pattern testing is about the experience. Does the pattern flow well? Does it make sense to follow? Is it enjoyable to make?
Your role is to sew the quilt from the pattern draft and share your honest feedback, photos, and videos throughout the process.
โ Whatโs Required of You
To be selected as a tester, youโll need to agree to the following:
- ๐ Complete the Pattern (or quilt top) by the due date
- ๐ Fill out the Pattern Tester Feedback Form (Iโll send you a Google Formโpage-by-page notes + overall thoughts)
- ๐ธ Submit 3 Photos + 1 Short Video:
- Two progress photos or fabric pull shots
- One finished quilt photo
- One 10-second video (your quilt in actionโwaving in the wind, being held up, etc.)
- ๐ฃ Tag Me on Instagram when posting
๐ก Other Things to Know
- Sometimes I offer a small payment or shop credit as a thank-you, but this may vary depending on current budget.
- Youโll get the full pattern free, of course!
- I appreciate a variety of testers: new quilters, experienced quilters, scrappy styles, traditional, modern, all of it!
- I typically choose about 10 testers per pattern.
