Remember that big scorch mark I left on my wool ma Remember that big scorch mark I left on my wool mat? 😭 Y’all came through with so many tips, and @gina_tell_threadgraffiti shared the winning solution. Just put hydrogen peroxide on an old towel, lay it over the stain, and iron on top. The burn mark lifted right out, like magic. It even works on fabric stains and scorch marks too. I’m so grateful for this amazing quilting community 💕Beautiful gorgeous wool mat from @novodonquilting

We’ve just pulled together four gorgeous kits for the Faefolk Quilt. Two are ready to ship right now, and two are available for pre-order. More options are coming later this week, but I couldn’t wait to share these beauties with you.

Whether you’re sewing along in the Faefolk Quilt Class or just planning your next quilt, these curated kits make fabric placement easy and oh-so-pretty. I'll be using the first one while the class is running.

I don’t usually make pouches, but I had the urge I don’t usually make pouches, but I had the urge to try something different. Quilted a simple grid on Wild Bloom Drama and stitched it up into these little quilted pouches. And honestly… I’m kind of obsessed. 💕
PSA to my fellow quilters: don’t leave your hot PSA to my fellow quilters: don’t leave your hot iron sitting on your wool mat while teaching. Ask me how I know… 🫠 What’s the worst sewing mishap you’ve ever had?
Day 3 (or is it 30?) with my first Faefolk quilt i Day 3 (or is it 30?) with my first Faefolk quilt in Everlush fabrics. Quilting on the @Berninausa Q20 sit-down and questioning my life choices… but wow, it’s going to be worth it. 🪡✨ Someday

On my first Faefolk quilt, I didn’t use pins. Partly because I was in a rush and partly because I had been working on Dilly Dally, so my piecing game was on point. Those seams came out perfect.
I thought, “I’ve done it once, I can do it again.” This time I skipped pins, but I haven’t been working on anything fussy lately, and let’s just say the seams had a mind of their own. 🙃 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, going to be sending this one to testers this week!

Faefolk is a weekend quilt, beginner friendly, all strip piecing, all straight lines, and perfect for your very first quilt. Pattern coming this September 📅.
