This quilt has been a favorite of mine for years, and I’m so happy to finally have it available as its own standalone pattern.

The new Lulu Louise pattern includes three sizes (Crib, Throw + Bed) and an updated, more efficient strip-piecing method. It’s beginner-friendly, wonderfully simple to piece, and such a fun quilt for playing with color and value.

Sunday, September 6 is the final day to preorder Happy Home with the early bird discount.

Right now, you can preorder fat quarter bundles, half-yard bundles, kits, and individual yardage.

After Sunday, the kits and individual yardage will come down, and the early bird discount will end. Any remaining bundles will stay in the shop until they’re sold out.

We order our fabric in small batches, so preordering is really the best way to make sure you get exactly what you want.

I JUST completed my book. 🎉🥳 these pics are some sneaky shots I took yesterday after wrapping things up. There’s still so much to do. I have a bit of polishing to do. And the whole thing needs testing. But just having all the projects done and photographed, and then knowing I’ll be releasing on time… whew! Weight off my mind.

Oh and these crinkles are making me swoon! 🫠

And that is a wrap on the Light in the Dark mini quilt class. I had SO MUCH making this little lovely with you. And just so glad for the push to start including the FMQ demos in these classes as well. THANK YOU! 🙏 Not sure I would be adding that to all future classes without that push. 🩷 These pics will show you that border much better. I swear scallops are my new favorite. I doubt I ever get away from freely doodling all over but some precision ruler work quilting here and there really puts the polish on a project.

I forgot to quilt the drapes on my star points. 🙃 I’ve been REALLY enjoying borders lately. Can’t really see this one due to my binding, but I’ll show it soon.
