Here’s a little peek at what I’m planning for the Here’s a little peek at what I’m planning for the quilting on my Faefolk quilt! 🌸 I’ve been playing around with flowers, feathers, swirls, and tiny little fillers, figuring out how I want everything to flow together across the quilt. I’m going with an all-over quilting design, but instead of repeating just one motif, I’m combining several designs to create something a little more intricate and whimsical. These are my actual drawings and the plan I’m working from! This is all part of Quilt It Already!, my new quilting class where we’re taking those finished quilt tops out of the closet and finally getting them quilted. We’ve been planning and drawing our designs in Lesson 6, and now we’re moving on to the fun part: actually stitching them onto Faefolk! Want to see how these drawings turn into stitches? Trying new things. 🙃 Teaching over at Quilty Class Trying new things. 🙃 Teaching over at Quilty Class has been pushing me, tbh. . I did not like the Peace Lily design at all, but the feathered leaf 😍. I’m on the fence about the tiny hook flowers as a filler. I like the tornados, but much prefer my swirls and pebbles over them. . I’m getting a new class ready now for a 5-quilt FMQ series. Wish me luck!
