If you’ve been following along, your pillow top and backing are sewn together. Now it’s time to complete the project!
In this video, we’ll walk through three essential steps:
- Finalizing the Backing: We’ll make sure your backing is securely attached to your pillow top and ready for binding.
- Creating and Sewing the Binding: Learn how to make your binding from fabric strips, attach it to your pillow, and ensure a neat, durable finish.
- Finishing the Binding with Chunky Hand Stitching: Add a beautiful, handmade touch to your pillow using the chunky hand stitch binding method. This technique is easy to learn and gives your pillow a cozy, decorative look.
This project is designed with beginners in mind, so even if this is your first time sewing a quilted pillow, you’ll be able to follow along with confidence. The chunky hand stitching adds a personal touch that’s perfect for holiday decor as a thoughtful handmade gift.
