Dilly Dally Blocks 25 + 26:

The Challenge Is Real πŸ˜…

The next two Dilly Dally blocks are here! πŸ™Œ

Blocks 25 and 26 just went live over in Quilt Class, and I’m not even going to pretendβ€”these were tough. Honestly, I think they’ve been the most challenging ones in the whole quilt so far.

That said… they’re also some of the most beautiful. If you’re up for a bit of a stretch and want to show off that skill you’ve been building block by block, these two are going to feel so satisfying once you’ve got them done.

I’ve updated the pattern to include both blocks, and there are full video lessons now waiting for you inside Quilt Class. You’ll also find a few pics from my process (aka proof that I lost a few points on my HSTsβ€”but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes, right? πŸ˜…).

The goal isn’t perfectionβ€”it’s progress and joy in the making. Always. πŸ’•

About HSTs

Half-square triangles (HSTs) have a way of looking simple… until you’re deep in a pile of them, trying to get those points to line up just right. πŸ˜… These blocks had more than a few, and while I did my best to be careful, a few of my points definitely wandered off. If you’ve been there too, know that you’re not alone! One tip I’ve been leaning into is trimming each HST after pressingβ€”even if I think I nailed itβ€”just to be sure everything’s nice and square before sewing it into the block. It makes a big difference!

Here’s a half square triangle demo for you.
