A Peek at My New Faefolk Quilt Top – Made with Everlush

I’ve just finished a new quilt top (Faefolk quilt top) and couldn’t wait to show it off. This one is called Faefolk, and it’s a brand-new pattern I’ve been working on. It’s not available just yet, but the pattern will be coming out later this summer. I think you’re really going to love it, especially if you enjoy a quick and simple make.

I made this quilt with my Everlush fabric collection, which is available now at Meander + Make. Everlush is soft, floral, and filled with rich, earthy colors. It has a really calming, romantic feel to it, and I think it works beautifully with the Faefolk design.

I made the 68″ x 82″ size, which is a generous throw or a small bed quilt. The entire quilt is strip pieced using fat quarters, and it’s made with all straight-line sewing. That makes this pattern perfect for beginners or anyone who wants an easy, relaxing project.

What Makes the Faefolk Pattern Beginner-Friendly

  • Strip piecing construction for faster assembly
  • Uses fat quarters and larger fabric pieces
  • No tricky seams, just straight-line sewing
  • Great for scrappy fabric pulls
  • Quick to cut and fast to sew
  • Cohesive layout with repeating centers and cornerstones

This is the kind of quilt you can start on a Friday night and finish over the weekend. It’s a satisfying make, especially if you’re short on time or need a creative refresh. I kept the center of each block and all the cornerstones the same to bring a little structure to the scrappiness, which helps everything feel balanced once the quilt is complete.

The Faefolk pattern will be releasing later this summer, and I’ll have kits and bundles available when it does. Until then, you can start planning your own version and shop the Everlush fabric collection now at Meander + Make.
