This room isn’t polished, it’s not picture-perfect. But it’s where I find calm, color, and creativity, and I’m grateful for every inch of it. ❤️ Just ignore the Barbie head Wade snuck in to creep me out 💀, all the cords snaking across the floor, and pretend you can’t hear the cringey audiobook I swear I didn’t know was that spicy. 😂It’s a little chaotic, but it’s mine, and that makes it feel just right. Beautiful pieces don’t require beautiful spaces, just a place where you feel free to make.

Some quilts just take time, and maybe that’s exactly what we need. I made Dilly Dally slowly, in the in-between moments, with quiet hands and a busy heart. Each block gave me a reason to pause. Each seam helped me breathe a little easier.There’s something comforting about making with your hands, about turning fabric and thread into something that holds you back.
