Some quilts just take time, and maybe that’s exa Some quilts just take time, and maybe that’s exactly what we need. I made Dilly Dally slowly, in the in-between moments, with quiet hands and a busy heart. Each block gave me a reason to pause. Each seam helped me breathe a little easier. There’s something comforting about making with your hands, about turning fabric and thread into something that holds you back.
The long journey is complete. 💛 Dilly Dally is The long journey is complete. 💛Dilly Dally is finished, front to back, and I couldn’t be more in love. This version uses Jellybean Meadow for both the quilt top and the wide back, and every stitch feels like sunshine and wildflowers. 🌼If you’ve been dreaming of making your own, kits are ready and waiting.

We have a cover! 📘✨ The Dilly Dally quilt bo We have a cover! 📘✨The Dilly Dally quilt book is officially coming together, and I’m so excited to share the front and back covers with you. This one’s been such a long, creative process, tiny blocks, thoughtful details, and now, a proper little book to hold it all.Swipe to see both sides of the cover. I can't wait for you to have this in your hands!#dillydallyquilt #quiltpatternbook #samplerquilt #southerncharmquilts #quiltcoverreveal #quiltinglife
Just wrapped up quilting the Dilly Dally quilt and Just wrapped up quilting the Dilly Dally quilt and I went all in on the details. ✨ Each block got its own custom design, some ruler work, some tiny free motion textures. In the sashing, I added soft squiggly lines that give it a crinkly, cozy look. But the borders… that’s where I tried something totally new. I marked a curving vine using a dinner plate (yes, really!) and freehanded a feather that snakes all the way around. This was my first time doing a border like this, and I just went for it. Organic, imperfect, but I love it.Swipe through to see all the texture and movement this quilting added to Dilly Dally. 💫#freemotionquilting #dillydallyquilt #quiltingdetails #quiltborder #southerncharmquilts #quiltingmotifs #samplerquilt

There’s no rushing a Dilly Dally quilt. 49 block There’s no rushing a Dilly Dally quilt. 49 blocks means lots of time at the machine, and I loved every minute of it. This pattern has a rhythm to it, a peaceful kind of repetition that lets you sink into the sewing. The kind of project that reminds you it’s okay to slow down and just enjoy the process.I used Jellybean Meadow fabrics for this one. Soft, happy, and playful. And they added just the right spark to every block with those fussy cuts. There’s a quiet joy in watching something grow, one stitch at a time. 💛🧵
