Monday is all about fabric – #30 – Random Low Volumes from Stitchery Sewist Shop

I know, I know, you are thinking that I buy way too much low volume.  And when I tell you that I am almost out of it, you are probably rolling your eyes.  But then I’d remind you that I use it in almost every single quilt, so…… stop judging me!  JK!  Seriously, though my drawer is only half full and I’ve got quilts coming up that I need low volume for.  Sigh.  I can just picture you, picturing me as a low volume glutton.  Maybe you’re right (insert exasperation).

Today, I wanted to talk to you about the sweetest fabric shop owner, Violet.

Violet is one of my favorite people on IG and I KNEW last year that she had opened up a brick and mortar fabric shop in Arkansas.  What I did not know was that she also has her fabrics online to purchase as well.  (ugh, I can’t believe I didn’t know that).  Violet and I have been in TWO different traveling quilt groups together.  So these facts I should have known.  She’s incredibly talented and always adds THE best additions to the traveling quilts.

Visit Stitchery Sewist Shop here.

I didn’t go through the website and order my fabric (though you certainly can!), I saw a whole shelf of low volume fabrics in the background of one of Violet’s IG pics and said, “Hey girlie!  Can you put me together a bundle?”  And then, she sent me an invoice through Paypal and I had my fabrics in about 2 days.  Voila!  THAT is exceptional customer service!

You too can order a mystery low volume bundle of your own right here.  OR just contact Violet on Instagram, Facebook or text and just send a little note about what you are wanting.

One more thing before we get to THE FABRICS, Violet has a daily sale called ‘The Fabric Chair’.  Chosen prints that are available for 20% off everyday.  You can view this on her IG feed here.  Shipping is a flat rate $5 on all US orders.

Here is what I got:

Skies Rain in gold by Simple Simon & Company from Riley Blake Designs

Farmhouse Folk Fleur in cream by Amy Gibson from Windham

Creative Rockstar in yellow by Rad & Happy from Riley Blake

Wisp Meadow in cream by Alison Glass from Andover

Library Gardens by Amy Sinbaldi from Art Gallery Fabrics

Twinkly by Amy Gibson from Windham

Sprinkle Dots in cream by See Kate Sew from Riley Blake

Stitchery Sewist Shop also offers gifts and books, notions, and patterns on the website.  I’d really like to see what the fuss is all about with one of these.  Have you tried it?  Please tell!

Violet also offers long arm services.  You can contact her directly for inquiries.  And she’s good!  If I ever decide to send one of my quilts to a long armer, I’m using her.

I think this might be the first time I’ve ever ordered fabric in such a personal way before and I might be hooked.  I don’t have a local fabric shop, so this was a new experience for me.  Be sure to give Violet’s shop a look if you need new fabrics and don’t forget to tell her that I sent you.  Hugs!
