Monday is all about fabric – #27 – Random fabrics

Hello, sweet fabric lovers!

I hope you are enjoying your Labor Day.

Color walked through my door last week.  You are probably thinking, “FINALLY!”.  I seemed to be in a low volume binge for weeks (truthfully, I used it all and am in need of more).  But not this week.  This week, we’ve got color and creamy texty fabrics.  Let’s have a closer look.

So I bought these fabrics for two separate custom quilts.  One quilt is almost entirely the creams (its a guest book wedding quilt), and the other quilt was all the orange and blues, but when they showed up all packaged together I couldn’t get over how great they all looked.

Here’s what we are looking at…..

ORANGES-

Mount Olympus in retro – Robert Kaufman House Designer

Spring Flowers in cloud – by Lisa Tilse from Robert Kaufman fabrics

Neighbor in peach – Cotton + Steel House Designer

Geometric in coral – Robert Kaufman House Designer

Coral in flame – by Elizabeth Hartman from Robert Kaufman fabrics

BLUES & AQUAS

Xoxo in cobalt – Cotton + Steel House Designer

Flowers in ice frappe – by Elizabeth Hartman from Robert Kaufman fabrics

Surf Side in aqua – by Patty Sloniger from Michael Miller fabrics

Tiny Droplet in blue – by Laura Gunn from Michael Miller fabrics

CREAMS

Stamped in neutral – by Amy Sinbaldi from Art Gallery FAbrics

Picturesque Bloom in vintage – AGF Studios

Amorous Manuscript in romance – AGF Studios

Ava Rose Script in cream – by Deena Rutter from Riley Blake fabrics

From Scratch in parchment – by Patty Sloniger from Michael Miller fabrics

Plain Weave in flax – by Sharon Holland from Art Gallery Fabrics

Easily, this one is my favorite.  It’s stunning!  This is the Amorous Manuscript fabric.  I want an entire sofa covered in this print.  See the whole collection this one belongs to here.

Roundup of Quilt Patterns

Let’s do a little round up of new quilt patterns I’ve recently discovered that I think these fabrics would look yummy in.

#1

Quill Quilt Pattern Download
This pattern is called Quill Quilt. It doesn’t look overly difficult, but it does look crazy cool and modern. It’s available as a PDF download (click the image to go to the pattern source).

#2

I LOOOOOVVVVVE this quilt! It’s so cool, and you know I’m loving the low volume look of it all. I think the fabrics I talked about today would be lovely with this pattern (click the image to go to the pattern source).

#3

If I ever can get my curves made correctly this quilt is on my list. SASSY. That’s how I feel about this quilt (click the image to go to the pattern source).
