Funshine, Bee Cross Stitch and Woodland Walk Bundles – Monday is All About Fabric – #180

Welcome back to Monday is all About Fabric! We have three bundles to show off today and lots of new fabrics too!

New at Meander + Make this week:

  • We have restocked a couple of the Gingham Garden fabrics which was way more popular than expected
  • Wildflower from Figo arrives this week! These are so pretty and I can’t wait to see them in person.
  • Faith, Hope & Love arrives this week too. We have this currently available individually and bundled.
  • We have made the paper version of Sugar Bear available for pre-order.

Today’s post is part of a series on this blog every Monday.

I don’t know about you, but fabric is EVERYTHING! I love buying it, petting it and then gushing with you about it. I’ll show you my latest fabric purchases and where you can buy it too.

Funshine Bundle

Funshine is our very first bundle for the Sugar Bear quilt (expected 3/8). If you caught my first Sugar Bear, it is extremely close to that quilt. Most of the fabrics are the same, but there were a few we had to replace. This bundle is available with an optional background. There’s about 4-5 options of background color too. When we sent out this bundle in our M+M newsletter, it went pretty quick, though there are a few bundles left. We will be restocking it though it’s highly likely it won’t be exactly the same and it may or may not have the background option attached.

Here’s what we have in the bundle:

Bee Cross Stitch Bundle

Bee Cross Stitch is a basic blender from Lori Holt of Riley Blake Designs. I love these fabrics! They are so perfect for tossing in with your busier fabrics and bringing a little calm in to a quilt. We have these individually and in fat quarter or half yard bundles.

Woodland Walk

We didn’t buy a lot of this collection, but these five fabrics were calling my name. This is Woodland Walk by Nathalie Lete. Colors are fuchsia, coral and turquoise and the two bird prints in this collection are stunning! The sparrows are a perfect size for a 4.5″ fussy cut.

I’m currently in the middle of quilting my first Sugar Bear quilt. I of course decided to make it extra hard on myself by feeling the need to ditch and echo around all the blocks using this ruler. Needless to say, I’m about four hours into it and might have quilted three of the nine blocks. Big sighs! I’m hoping it will be worth it. I’m listening to The Turn of the Key as I quilt and I can’t say I’m enjoying it, but I can’t seem to swap to something else either. I’m expecting a bad ending.
