Sew Q Laser Review & How I Use It

We are talking about the Sew Q laser! Last week, I shared a video tutorial on making hourglass quilt blocks, and I was surprised by how many questions I got about the little red laser line you saw on my sewing machine. That line is from the SewQ Laser, a handy little tool I’ve been using lately to help with straighter, more accurate piecing. I’m officially obsessed.
So, I decided to make a quick video just about the SewQ Laser — what it is, how I have it set up on my machine, and why I think it’s a total game changer for quilters and sewists. You can watch the video👇.
Where to get it?
You can find the SewQ Laser here. It’s easy to install, and it works with most sewing machines. In my video, I walk you through how I’ve positioned it and how I use it while sewing.
If you’ve ever struggled with keeping your seams straight or want to skip the tedious step of marking lines — this tool might be just what you need.
