How to Make Pretty Pins for Your Pincushions

If you’ve been wanting to add a sweet final touch to your handmade pincushions, making your own pretty pins is such a fun way to do it. In this video tutorial, I’ll show you how I created the decorative pins I used in my Quilt-As-You-Go Pincushion class. It’s a simple process using just a few supplies, and it’s perfect for when you want something cute and personalized for your sewing space.
These little pins don’t take long to make and they really elevate your finished pincushion. You can match them to your fabric, use buttons or cabochons you already have, and turn something functional into something beautiful. They also make thoughtful additions if you’re gifting a pincushion to a fellow quilter or sewing friend.
