A little story about my fabrics

I wanted to share a little story with you about the fabrics I use in my quilts.
Back in 2021, I tried to get my designs picked up by a few different fabric manufacturers. I got really close a couple of times, but in the end, it just didn’t work out.
I remember feeling disappointed, but also a little restless. I knew I wanted to keep going, I just wasn’t sure what that would look like.
So I decided to try something different.
Instead of waiting for someone else to say yes, I started having my own fabrics printed.
Now every fabric you see from me starts the same way.
It’s usually just me, sitting down with my iPad, a cup of coffee or tea nearby, and slowly drawing. I take those drawings into Illustrator, build the repeats, and then send them off to be printed.
We produce everything in small batches, which is why you’ll sometimes see preorders and restocks come and go.
But what I love most is that the fabrics feel like an extension of the quilts themselves. The colors, the softness, the prints, it all comes from the same place as the patterns and the classes.

If you’ve ever wanted to build a fabric stash that feels cohesive and easy to work with, I created something for that too.
The Southern Charm Stash Club is the one I reach for the most. Each month, I send out 10 fat quarters, all curated to work beautifully together. It’s a simple way to keep your stash growing without overthinking it.

There’s no pressure at all. I just wanted to share a little bit of how these fabrics came to be, since they’ve become such a big part of everything I make.
