Quilt It Already! | Chapters 1 & 2: Let’s Get Started + Your Quilt Patterns

I certainly do! And that’s exactly why I created Quilt It Already!.

This new quilting class is all about pulling those quilt tops out of the closet, getting them under the needle, and finally turning them into finished quilts.

We’re working through four quilts together, and I’m taking you along for the entire quilting process, from planning our designs to stitching the very last section.

And the best part? You don’t have to make the same quilts I’m making!

Chapter 1: Getting Started

Chapter 1 is ready to watch, and all three lessons are completely FREE!

Here’s what we’ll cover:

• Lesson 1: Welcome to Quilt It Already! — Come peek inside my quilt closet, see the four quilt tops I’ve chosen, and learn what we’ll be working on together.
• Lesson 2: Navigating Quilt Class — I’ll walk you through the classroom, show you where to find your lessons and downloads, and explain how everything works.
• Lesson 3: Getting Ready to Quilt — Let’s talk about our machines, threads, quilting gloves, rulers, marking tools, and the supplies we’ll be using.

Chapter 2: Quilt Patterns & Downloads

Now, here’s something I’m especially excited about!

I’ve included four quilt pattern PDFs with Quilt It Already!, so if you’d like to make any of the same quilts I’m quilting, you absolutely can.

All four PDFs are available to enrolled students in Chapter 2, so you can download them and start piecing whenever you’re ready.

But I want to make something very clear…

You do NOT have to make these quilts to participate!

In fact, I’d love for you to go digging through your WIP pile. Pull out that quilt top you finished months ago. Or maybe even years ago!

You know the one. It’s already pieced, it’s beautiful, and for whatever reason, you just haven’t gotten around to quilting it.

That’s the quilt I want you to bring to class.

The patterns are there if you want them, but this class is really about helping you finish what you’ve already started.

What’s Coming Next?

Once we get into the quilting chapters, I’ll be sharing my entire process as I work through four different quilt tops.

We’ll talk about choosing quilting designs, planning where to stitch, practicing our free motion quilting, and working our way across each quilt.

Our first quilt is Faefolk, and I’ve got some beautiful floral and feathered designs planned for it!

You can follow along with the same designs I’m using or take what you learn and apply it to your own quilt.
