Fabric & Materials

  • Foreground: 1 fat eighth for Leaf A, 1 fat eighth for Leaf B
  • Stems: Small scraps
  • Background: 1 fat quarter
  • Batting: About 14″ x 23″
  • Backing: Fat quarter or piece 14″ x 23″
  • Binding: Two 2¼” x WOF strips (or equivalent)
  • Dowel 
  • Twine

This project is a relaxed, single-afternoon sew. Choose two leaf fabrics that pop against a light background, or flip the values for a moodier look. The twine-and-dowel finish makes it easy to display on a wall, peg, or shelf.
