I’ve been receiving the Liberty Society club bundles now since early spring 2017 and I’m so happy to be a member of this club. I love these beautiful florals arriving at my door each month. Visit Ava and Neve here and get yourself a subscription.
That red fabric! I was gushing as soon as it was my hands. There were actual gasps come from my mouth. It’s stunning. Even more so in person. I also really like the top fabric “melody”. It’s a sweet little low volume.
I hope you had a good weekend! I slept in both days and skipped my morning walks. Choosing instead to curl up and continue stitching my Gma Flower Garden quilt. I’m not sure of the normal way of making a quilt like this. I’ve got fourteen of the flowers completed, but went ahead and started piecing them together. I needed to see some major progress. I wasn’t sure if most finish all the flowers then start piecing them or what, but this feels right.
This Week
This week I’m participating in a blog hop put on by Stephanie from Modern Sewciety. This is the first “hop” I’ve ever participated in, but I’ve also got another coming my way in July with the Kingfisher Stitch Along. My day of the hop is Wednesday and I’ve made a lap quilt with a really cool block, some sweet little AGF panels, and tiny bits of embroidery and hand quilting. I can’t wait to show you.
This Friday I’ll be showing you how I take my quilt pictures with Iphone and edit them to look like they do. Some of you won’t find this interesting and I’m sorry, but I’ve got several requests for it, so I thought I’d go ahead and write the post.
Today I’m starting my second Landslide quilt! The pattern will release next week on June 19. Look for sneak peeks on IG from me.
Happy Sewing!
