Working on Eloise – Sugar Bear Quilt

The posts in this series are all part of the pattern, Sugar Bear.ย  These are not tutorials or how to videos, but are of me making this quilt.ย  It’s meant to be similar to a self guided quilt along and hopefully feel like we are making this quilt together (even if you are finding this years later).ย  Do tag me on Instagram (@southerncharmquilts)!ย  I’d love to see what you do with it.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Eloise may look more difficult than the other blocks, and yeah, she does have more piecing, but it’s the same stuff we’ve been doing all along. We can do it!

Video Summary

In the video, we tackle Eloise. She’s a bit more involved and has quite a few pieces, but it’s just a little more basic piecing. She makes this cool windmill shape that I think looks like arms when put together beside other windmills. I am down to the nitty gritty on fabrics and it takes me a ridiculous amount of time to decide which ones to use. Ha!
