I noticed in the custom dresden plate quilt you showed, how the busy background fabric took some of the “boldness” away from all the plates. I like how you did that. I tend to quilt whisper and solid everything but would like to maybe ease in to more busy prints and backgrounds…it’s out of my comfort zone at the moment.
