A Dresden Quilt – Free PDF Quilt Pattern

This has been a long time coming. I have had this free tutorial on my blog for quite awhile, but this is the first time I’ve ever put it down in a PDF and made it available for you to download.

I know I talk about Dresdens all the time and I make a lot of quilts with Dresden plates and you don’t know this yet, but I have two more quilt patterns this year coming with Dresden plates and OH, I’m so excited about them. But enough about that! Today I’m showing you my free PDF quilt pattern, A Dresden Plate Quilt.

All the A Dresden Plate Quilts I’ve made:

All the others ones were pre-blogging.

I’m really hoping to make this quilt again very soon. It’s been a few months since I made one and I’d love to do it in my peaches and golds.

I’ve made the free version in just one size, but it’s an easy quilt to resize if you need something smaller and bigger.

The pattern is packed full of video tutorials to help you along the way.

Here’s a list of my Dresden Plate Tutorials:

You can find the free A Dresden Quilt pattern in my free pattern library here. Password for the library is located in my bi-weekly emails. If you aren’t signed up for them yet, you can do so here.

Please note that this is a free quilt pattern and it has not been tested by anyone but myself.

You can find the Dresden ruler and pointer here that is used in the pattern, but there’s a template within the pattern if you prefer.

The A Dresden Quilt pattern makes a great use of scraps! If you are low on low volumes for the background, we do have them for sale in bundles here.

If you decide to make this quilt I’d love for you to tag it on Instagram #adresdenquilt. There is quite a bit of them there if you need any additional inspiration.

If you like this pattern, you can find more of my patterns in my shop here.
