I stopped using starch because my iron was getting gunked up. About getting perfect HSTs, I learned that if I draw a diagonal line and then sew just to the right of the line, my HSTs didn’t need trimming.
Hi Melanie, I was just wondering about the starchy mess all over the iron and the ironing board. Doesn’t it build up and clog the iron and make it less slippery?
Thanks,
angie
