The first ten Dilly Dally blocks are completed! We’ve reached an exciting milestone in the Dilly Dally Quilt Class! If you’ve been sewing along with us, you’ve likely had a chance to practice a mix of techniques, all while watching your quilt start to take shape.

These first ten blocks have been designed with approachable, fun techniques that make piecing feel effortless. We’ve focused on straight-line sewing, giving you crisp, clean results with minimal fuss. Fussy cutting has also played a significant role, allowing you to highlight your favorite fabric motifs and add charm to your quilt. And, of course, strip piecing has made quick work of several blocks, helping to speed up the process while keeping everything neat and precise.

Plus, seeing all ten blocks laid out together is such a rewarding moment–it’s incredible how these simple elements combine to create something truly special.

- Blocks – Jellybean Meadow fabric collection – I just grabbed a fat quarter bundle of all (20) fabrics
- Background – Kona Snow
My Pressing Station (underneath my wool mat, I have a flannel/vinyl tablecloth protecting the table):
Cutting Station:
- Rotary cutter
- Basic 24″ ruler
- Cutting mat
- Magic Pins
- Smaller subcutting ruler
- Rotating cutting mat
- 6 1/2″ square ruler or another one I like
- Project box
- Washi tape
- Wool mat for block carrying
- Stripology ruler – little one / big one

Swayful Quilty Class – BEGINS JUNE 29

A new quilt is beginning inside Quilty Class. Swayful features a woven knot design created from rotating blocks and simple snowball construction. The pattern is fat quarter friendly for the foreground fabrics and includes a unique border that carries the movement all the way to the edges of the quilt.

We’ll begin on June 29 and work through the quilt top together step-by-step as new lessons are released.
