What’s Inside the New Lessons

Lessons 10–12: Making the Blocks

In these lessons, you’ll learn how to:

• Sew rectangles into strip sets
• Press with spray for crisp seams
• Cut units from each strip set
• Assemble about two blocks per strip set

Lesson 13: Batch Sewing for Speed

This lesson is all about efficiency. You’ll see how to:

• Batch your tasks so everything gets done at once
• Cut multiple strip sets at a time
• Use either a basic ruler or a Stripology ruler to make cutting faster
• Press, cut, and assemble in batches for quick, consistent results

Batch sewing means you spend longer on each task, but you end up with a big pile of blocks finished at once, and it feels amazing to see your quilt grow so quickly.
