Introducing the Hand Stitch Companion Pillow Pattern

If you’ve been craving a project that lets you slow down and enjoy some peaceful stitching, the Hand Stitch Companion Pillow might be exactly what you’re looking for. This beginner-friendly pattern focuses on hand quilting, giving you a soft, textured pillow that feels handmade and cozy in all the best ways.

This project is part of my Cozy Fall Stitches Class, where we create five different seasonal sewing projects together, but you can also make it on its own. The pattern works beautifully for both new and experienced quilters who love the calm rhythm of hand stitching.

In the video below, I’ll introduce the pattern, show you my finished pillow, and talk through some of the different ways you can make yours. You can use a geometric print for easy, built-in quilting guides or choose a stencil to mark your own design. Either way, this project is a lovely chance to unwind, stitch slowly, and create something that adds warmth to your home.
