I am so excited to finally share a brand new fabric collection with you called Planty People. This one has been living on my drawing table and in my head for a while, and it feels really special to finally see it all come together.

Planty People is inspired entirely by houseplants. Only houseplants. No flowers at all. This collection is for anyone who loves filling their home with leafy greens, trailing vines, hanging baskets, and plants tucked into every sunny corner. If your house feels better when it has plants in it, you are absolutely a planty person.

Let’s Talk About the Colors

The color palette is one of my favorite parts of this collection. It feels warm, happy, and grounded all at the same time. There are soft pinks, warm orangey pinks, buttery yellows, golden tones, and a rich brown that really sets the tone and keeps everything feeling cozy and balanced.

There is also a sage tone that leans more blue than green. It feels calm and fresh, and it plays so nicely with the warmer colors. And then there is the sunshine yellow. This one truly makes me smile every time I see it. It is the happiest little pop of sunshine and it brings so much warmth to any quilt.

These colors were chosen to mix easily, whether you are using a little bit of everything or just pulling a few favorites for a project.

The Prints in Planty People

Every print in this collection comes back to indoor plant life and the way plants grow and live inside our homes.

One print is inspired by pothos, with winding, triangular leaves that feel soft and flowing. There is a stripe made up of tiny sprouts that looks like a trailing vine or something spilling out of a hanging basket. It works beautifully as a stripe, binding, or accent piece.

There is also a scallop blender inspired by the texture and softness of a wedding dress. It adds interest without overpowering a quilt and works really well when you need something subtle but not boring.

The leafy print brings together a mix of familiar houseplants you might already love, things like monstera, pilea, prayer plant, and a few others. It feels layered and collected, just like a home that has slowly filled up with plants over time.

Quilt Kits and Pre-Orders

Along with yardage and bundles, we are offering a variety of quilt kits for Planty People. These kits are only available during the pre-order period. Once pre-orders close, kits will not be restocked.
