Quilt It Already! — Come Quilt Those Unfinished Quilt Tops with Me!

You know those quilt tops you’ve finished piecing, folded up neatly, and tucked away for another day? The ones that have been waiting patiently for you to get around to quilting them?
I’ve got a whole closet full of them. And I’ve decided it’s time to do something about it!
I’m starting a brand-new class called Quilt It Already!, and I’d love for you to come quilt along with me.
This class is a little different from the ones we’ve done before. We’re not going to spend our time cutting fabric or piecing quilt tops. We’re starting with quilts that are already made and focusing entirely on the quilting.
And I think we’re going to have a whole lot of fun doing it!

Quilt It Already! – A Free Motion Quilting Series {Beginner – Intermediate}
Let’s get those quilt tops quilted! Learn free motion quilting on four different quilts, from all-over designs to custom quilting. Includes four PDF patterns, or bring your own unfinished quilt tops. No piecing instruction.
Come take a peek inside my quilt closet
I filmed a little introduction to the class while standing in front of my quilt closet, pulling out the four quilt tops we’ll be working on.
Some of these quilts have been waiting quite a while, and I’m excited to finally give them the attention they deserve.
In the video, I’m showing you the quilts, sharing a little about them, and talking about what we’ll be learning together.
We’re going to figure out the quilting together
One of the things I’m most excited about with this class is that we’re not just going to sit down at the sewing machine and start quilting.
We’re going to talk through the decisions first.
How do you decide whether a quilt needs an all-over design or something more custom? What designs work best with certain blocks? When should the quilting stand out, and when should it quietly complement the piecing?
We’ll look at each quilt, come up with a quilting plan, and then put that plan into action.
I’ll be sharing my thought process along the way, including why I choose certain designs, how I approach different areas of a quilt, and how I use free-motion quilting and rulers to bring everything together.
My hope is that you’ll come away feeling more confident looking at your own quilt tops and knowing where to begin.
You don’t have to make the same quilts I’m making
Although I’ll be working through four different quilts, you absolutely do not have to make those same quilts to participate.
Four quilt pattern PDFs are included with the class, so if you want to make one of them, you certainly can!
But I’d really love for you to dig through your own WIP pile, find a quilt top that’s been waiting for some attention, and bring it along.
The whole point is to take what we learn and apply it to the quilts we already have.

When does Quilt It Already! begin?
We officially get started on November 7, 2026!
I’ll be adding a new chapter approximately every two weeks, and we’ll continue quilting together through the first week of January 2027.
After that, the class will be fully complete and available to work through at your own pace.
And if you can’t keep up with the releases, don’t worry. You can come back to the lessons whenever you’re ready, according to your class access.

Two ways to join us
You can purchase Quilt It Already! individually and receive lifetime access to the class, including all the video lessons and four downloadable quilt patterns.
Or, if you’re a Quilty Club member, this class is included with your membership, along with access to the entire Quilty Class library.
Either way, you’ll be learning right alongside me!
Let’s quilt it already!
So here’s my invitation to you.
Go dig through your WIP pile. Pull out those quilt tops you’ve been meaning to finish. Maybe it’s one you made last month, or maybe it’s been tucked away for years.
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been waiting.
Bring what you’ve got, and let’s work through those quilting decisions together, try some different designs, and turn a few of those unfinished quilt tops into finished quilts.
I can’t wait to get started with you!

I hope you leave here feeling inspired to make something you love and enjoy every little stitch along the way. 💕
