Today’s post is part of a series on this blog every Monday.
I don’t know about you, but fabric is EVERYTHING! I love buying it, petting it and then gushing with you about it. I’ll show you my latest fabric purchases and where you can buy it too.

It always feels a bit off for me to be purchasing a bundle of solid fabrics, but you remember this quilt? Well, I’m remaking it. This is a custom order I received and my buyer asked that it be made the same as the first one, but I wasn’t able to find all the Kaleidoscope fabrics I used in the first quilt, so I’ve compromised. And beautifully so!
Today we are looking at some of the Pure Elements solids from Art Gallery Fabrics.
It will be a bit before I make the next Star Dance quilt, but I couldn’t wait to show you the fabrics. I tried to stick with as close colors as I could on the first one, but they are different. I’m thinking I’m loving this grouping just a bit more.
I don’t usually make quilt patterns intended for fat quarters as they are not my go-to grab (usually), but when they work, they work, The Star Dance pattern breaks down cutting instructions per fat quarter which I find very helpful! It’s also nice to find fabric shops that you can buy a fat quarter at. Bobbie Lou Fabrics is perfect for that. She sells all her fabrics with a fat quarter available as a cutting option and I believe they are all under $3.
