Monday Is All About Fabric – #127 – Grunge

Today’s post is part of a series on this blog every Monday.

I don’t know about you, but fabric is EVERYTHING! I love buying it, petting it and then gushing with you about it. I’ll show you my latest fabric purchases and where you can buy it too.

You might have noticed that I’m a bit partial to a good blender.  Maybe that’s wrong.  Is there a fabric that I’m not partial too?  Ha!  But really, I love a good blender!  Blenders making using those fabrics with multiple colors much easier.  It keeps the crazy at bay!  So I tend to stock my quilts full of blenders.  And these blenders I’m talking to you about today…… You’ll need to come pick me up from the floor!  The scrumptiousness is on another level.  Seriously!  Let’s swoon together.  🙂

Product Spotlight

Back in Stock!!

Diagonal Seam Tape is a perfect solution for sewing straight diagonal seams without having to mark any lines! The special washi tape is strong, thin, and removes cleanly after sewing projects. Simply place the tape in front of the feed dogs with the red line in front of the needle as the stitch line. The black lines on either side of the center line represent a perfect 1/4″ seam allowance and are a great resource to use when making half square triangles, or learning to keep a perfect 1/4″. Each roll is 10 yards.

Melanie’s TipI wrote a blog post with video tutorial about this product here.

I can’t stop inspecting every single color to see all the colors within that color.  Oh, I’m a mess, y’all.  It’s love I tell you.  I probably didn’t even stock a tenth of the colors available, but I went with colors that spoke to me the most.  Somehow I managed to leave out the gold.  Picture my palm on my face right now, but I’ll right that ship soon.

In the meantime, which one is your favorite?  I got to give it up to Antique Rose, but all so Nectar, and then Boysenberry, but who am I kidding.  I love them all!

This Week

So!  Wednesday I’m showing you my Tea Time quilt, which I am way too obsessed with petting.  I over quilted it and it made the yummiest texture.  Remember it from here?  Friday we are talking all about scrappy quilts.  Like what they are, what they mean, why, how, all that jazz.  This is all in preparation for the Scrappy Pattern Pack releasing.  Soon!  October 30th to be exact.  Are you signed up for the newsletter?  You’ll get a coupon for the pattern on release day.

Hugs!
