Happy Folk Quilt – Gingerbread – 2nd In Progress

Happyfolk Quilt I last chatted about the progress of my Happyfolk quilt here. I’ve been slow moving on this one. Busy with other lovelies, I guess, but my heart is right here in this one though. It has all my favorite things happening…..low volume, Dresden plates, gold, peach. I’m in love with the color palette….

A Dresden Quilt #9 – Jewel Tones – In Progress

A Dresden Quilt After a month of effort, I finally have a flimsy for my A Dresden Quilt. My 9th version of this quilt. Whew! This feels good! So much work and for a while there I thought I’d never get here. Dresdens are so tedious, so time consuming, but it’s hard to argue…

Scrappy 9-patch Quilt – Free Quilt Pattern – In Progress

Scrappy 9-patch Quilt This is a commission quilt I’ve been working on. It was simple and fun and took no time at all really. Plus, it gave me a chance to really get a hold of that purple stash drawer of mine. It’s rammed full as I hardly ever use purples, but seem to collect…

Sugar Bear Quilt – Funshine Bundle – In Progress

Sugar Bear Quilt I designed Sugar Bear last summer (around June 2020) and I started writing the pattern the following August. It took me forever since the blocks are all so different and I was distracted by other projects, but around December the pattern was complete and I was just waiting for the moment…

Lately I’ve been reminding myself that things do Lately I’ve been reminding myself that things don’t have to happen fast to be good. Letting things unfold in their own way without pushing. It came together at a steady pace, and I loved every minute of the process.
