Monday is all about Fabric – #86 – Amalfi by Rifle Paper Company
Today’s post is part of a series on this blog every Monday.
I don’t know about you, but fabric is EVERYTHING! I love buying it, petting it and then gushing with you about it. I’ll show you my latest fabric purchases and where you can buy it too.

I have been wanting this bundle for some time now. It’s taking me a bit to get my fabric greedy fingers on it, but it’s mine now and I have no idea what I’ll do with it. Probably stash it! You’ll see it blended with other fabrics and popping up in several quilts over time. That’s usually how I roll.
This is a full collection of Amalfi by Rifle Paper Company of Cotton and Steel. I gotta tell you that I REALLY love everything Rifle Paper Company does. Don’t you? For me it’s the florals. Anna does florals very Anna-like. I always know when they are her’s.
But let’s have a look, shall we?

You can also get the whole bundle here for fat quarters, here for half yards, here for fat eighths, and even here if all you want is a scrap bag.
I have purchased the Herb Garden in mint before even though this is the first time I’ve held the whole bundle in my hands. Herb Garden is clearly my favorite prints from this collection, especially the one in natural. I also think the Sun Girls are precious!
I’ve actually been to the Amalfi Coast before back in 2011 while touring Italy. It was our favorite part of the trip. I’ll never forget our massive tour bus (only time and last time traveling with a tour bus) navigating those narrow roads all the way there. The bus driver seemed completely stress free while we looked down at sheer dropping cliffs on the opposite side of the bus.
My Quilt Patterns
This Week
On Wednesday I’ll be resurrecting an old post. Have a good week!
Hi Melanie 🙂
I have been reading your blog and following you on Instagram for several months now and just want to let you know how much I enjoy your posts. Your quilts are absolutely beautiful and I love how you keep reminding us that progress is more important than perfection…I struggle much with that! I especially love your “all about fabric” posts, although I get serious fabric envy, lol 🙂 Even though I wasn’t able to join the I am enough quilt-along, I love seeing all the beautiful blocks that everyone is making. Thank you for bringing joy to my day!!
What a sweet thing to write. Thank you very much, Joan. ?
Love checking in on your Monday fabric picks. Love the Herb Garden….ooooh. I also got to talk with and see Birch Fabrics at Quilt Market – got a FQ stack of their Wink design…love the colors.
Ooo. I’ll go check those out!
