Monday is All About Fabric – #128 – Companion Bundles for the Scrappy Pattern Pack

Today’s post is part of a series on this blog every Monday.

I don’t know about you, but fabric is EVERYTHING! I love buying it, petting it and then gushing with you about it. I’ll show you my latest fabric purchases and where you can buy it too.

We are doing things a little different this Monday.  I’m still showing you fabric bundles, but these are fabrics bundles that have been curated for special purposes.

This coming Wednesday, the Scrappy Pattern Pack is releasing!  Yes, you are meant to use your scraps with these quilts, but as requested I’ve put together some companion bundles.

What are companion bundles you ask?  Well, it’s a bundle that is more like a starter pack.  It’s not enough fabric to make the quilt, but it should get you started.  There are three companion bundles to view today.  Let’s dig in!

In the gold version of my Trippy quilt I used lots of yellows, golds, low volumes, and a few blush pinks.  While I don’t have the exact fabrics I used in the quilt, I’ve put together a companion bundle that should get you started with a similar version of this quilt.

Trippy uses your strip scraps, so I put a bundle of 10 fabrics together in quarter yards.  Each piece should give you three strips.  You’ll still need to put your own scraps with it though like I mentioned before.

The second quilt in the Scrappy Pattern Pack is the Migration quilt.  Migration is perfect for those small square scraps that you have.  Those are used for the color part of the quilt or the “butterflies”.  The bundle I’ve put together for Migration is for the background only.  All low volumes and in the exact amount of fabric you need for the Migration Quilt.

Some of the fabrics in this bundle were used in my own Migration quilt.  This bundle is 10 half yards of low volumes for that scrappy low volume look I’m so in love with.

You can find the Migration Companion bundle here.

The last companion bundle I have for you today is created for the Tea Time quilt.  I have quite a bit of the same fabrics, but there are some that I don’t have and I’ve substituted with fabrics I wish I’d used in my own version.

There are lots of options for the Tea Time quilt as far as what cut fabric you use, but regardless of what you choose, the quarter yard bundle I’ve created for this quilt will work.  Again, it’s not enough, but it should give you enough of the same colors to achieve a similar look.

I have a very limited amount of these bundles and I’m not sure if there will be more if I sell out.  Though you may want to wait to purchase if you are planning on purchasing the paper version of the pattern.  The pattern will release this Wednesday. If you are subscribed to my newsletter, you’ll receive a coupon good for the first few days after the release.

I’m going to try to do better when it comes to making bundles for my quilt patterns.  I’m often digging through my scrap fabrics or using some of my older fabrics mixed with new ones and it leaves me having a hard time doing that.  I am hearing you loud and clear that you like the curated bundles though.  If there is a bundle of one of my patterns that you’d like to see, please leave me a comment below and let me know.  It would help if I knew exactly what you were after.

Hugs!
