Swayful Quilt Pattern Tester Gallery

One of my favorite parts of releasing a new quilt pattern is getting to see what happens when other quilters get their hands on it.

I spend months looking at a pattern through my own fabric choices, my own color preferences, and my own quilting style. Then the tester quilts start arriving, and suddenly I get to see the pattern in a whole new way.

Swayful was no exception.

Seeing these quilts come together reminded me how much personality fabric choices can bring to a design. Each tester created something uniquely their own while still capturing the movement and connection that inspired the pattern.

A huge thank you to each of these talented quilters for their time, feedback, and beautiful work.

HELLO,

I’m Melanie

Hi, I’m Melanie. I’ve been quilting since 2010, and what began as a small hobby has grown into a deep appreciation for the process of making and slowing down. Quilting has taught me patience, curiosity, and the value of showing up, even when things feel imperfect.

These days, I design quilt patterns, teach online self-paced quilting classes, and curate and design fabric with one goal in mind, helping quilters build skills and confidence while enjoying the journey from first stitch to finished quilt. I believe the process matters just as much as the finish.
