Pretty Please: A New Fabric Collection

I’m so happy to finally introduce Pretty Please, my newest fabric collection!

Pretty Please is sweet, feminine, charming, and just a little nostalgic. It’s filled with florals, stripes, checks, and soft, pretty details, all designed to mix beautifully together in quilts.

I wanted this collection to feel cheerful and lovely without being tied to one particular style or color palette. Pretty Please is simply a collection for quilters who love a little pretty in everything.

Meet Pretty Please

In the video above, I’m taking you through the entire collection, showing you the fabrics up close and sharing a little more about the prints and colors.

But I wanted to give you an even closer look here, too.

A Closer Look at the Fabrics

Pretty Please brings together florals, stripes, and checks in a mix of prints that can take the lead in a quilt or quietly support everything around them.

This is where I’d show plenty of the real fabric. Close-ups, stacks, folded fabrics, individual prints, and any photos that really show the color and scale of the designs.

There’s something different about seeing fabric in person instead of only seeing a digital swatch. You can see how the colors play together and start imagining which prints you’d pair in your own quilt.

Pretty Please in Quilts

Of course, designing the fabric is only half the fun. I always want to see what it looks like in a quilt.

So I pulled Pretty Please into some of my quilt patterns to give you an idea of how the collection looks once those prints are cut up, mixed together, and surrounded by different backgrounds.

I love seeing how differently the collection can behave depending on the quilt pattern. Some designs really let those florals shine, while others mix all the smaller prints, stripes, and checks together.

Florals, Stripes & Checks

Pretty Please has that soft, feminine feeling I love, but I didn’t want every print to do the same job.

The florals bring in the sweetness. The stripes and checks give your eye somewhere to rest and add some structure when everything is mixed together in a quilt.

Together, they give you lots of possibilities for pulling a bundle straight from the collection or mixing Pretty Please with fabrics you already have in your stash.

This collection has been such a joy to work on, and seeing it go from individual designs on my computer to actual fabric and then into quilts is always one of my favorite parts of the process.

I hope Pretty Please finds its way into quilts that are used, loved, washed, gifted, and kept for years.
