CAROLINA MINGLE QUILT PATTERN
intermediate
String quilts are a form of patchwork quilting that uses long, narrow strips of fabric known as “strings.” This quilting technique has a rich history grounded in resourcefulness, as it enables quilters to use every scrap of fabric, no matter how small or irregularly shaped.
The Carolina Mingle pattern draws inspiration from this tradition but takes on a star shape. To bring this design to life, we will utilize a method of piecing known as fabric foundation piecing, allowing us to create intricate star points with precision.
