DREAMLAND QUILT PATTERN

advanced beginner

There’s not a more common quilt block than the Sawtooth Star. It’s a favorite of mine and constantly proves itself useful in an endless variety of ways. For the Dreamland quilt pattern, I kept the basic look, but spruced it up a bit by making it small and turning it on point.

I love that each column only uses one fat quarter. It creates a more modern look while keeping the fabric requirements low. It also opens up possibilities to play with ombre color placement. Imagine the columns going from lightest to darkest across the quilt, or maybe darkest in the middle then fading to the lightest fabrics on either side, or just use fabrics in your favorite colors like I did.
