FINISHED DANDY QUILT – A Stash-Busting Beauty from StashWork
My Dandy Quilt is finished, and I can’t wait to show it off! This beginner-friendly, stash-busting quilt pattern is from my book StashWork, designed to help quilters make the most of their fabric stash. If you followed along in the Dandy Quilt Along from Summer 2024, you’ve seen the step-by-step video demos for every stage of this quilt. Now, here’s the final reveal!

Let’s make quilts…
I used rich oranges, peaches, pink, melons, and berries for this version, with much of the fabric coming from my Hope & Feathers collection. I arranged my deeper colors in the center, fading outward to soft, low-volume whites and creams. The quilting, done by Lilo at Trace Creek Quilting, features a stunning sun-curved clamshell design–perfect for the sunset-inspired color flow.
The quilt is backed with Dream Vacay Romance (you can see it in the video below), a wide back fabric, bound with one of the Clover fabrics and finished with a chunky hand-stitched binding. Watch the full video to see all the details!
