We are chatting today about pinwheel blocks. I have a new quilt pattern coming, LaLa Fancy, and she has pinwheels in her. I thought I’d pop up a little tutorial to help you along the way. I’m also including a PDF pattern today, so that you’ll know how to make pinwheels in a variety of sizes. Scroll to the PDF link to download it and save it to your device.
So get comfy, find something fragrant to sip and let’s learn all about it.

Thank you for the tutorial. I thinking of making a quilt using the 12 inch pinwheel.
Link no longer works on pdf to make multiple sized pinwheels.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’ve corrected it and moved the pattern to the free pattern library. 🙂
This pinwheel block tutorial is incredibly helpful! The video and PDF pattern make it so easy to understand and follow along. I’m excited to use this technique for the upcoming LaLa Fancy quilt. Thanks for the clear instructions and additional resources.
