My fifth version of this quilt! And I may have cheated just a bit! That’s okay!
I know several of you have asked for this quilt as a quilt along, and I hear you, but have I mentioned this is my fifth time making it? Until I actually do this as a quilt along again, you can go at your own pace by checking out this post right here. It’s great for beginners or anyone struggling with flying geese. This quilt has so many of them that you are sure to master this skill once completed. Feel free to use this free quilt pattern and make your own Little Miss Sawtooth quilt. Be sure to post on Insta using this #littlemisssawtoothquilt or #littlemisssawtoothqal. I’d love to see what you make!
Fat Quarter (18″ x 22″) of 25 of our favorite prints by Tula Pink from various collections.
I made Little Miss Sawtooth again as a custom order quilt. I sell this quilt here. Unfortunately, I didn’t get many pictures. It was freezing outside and this was a queen size quilt, so very hard to maneuver around. Forgive me in advance!
I was asked to make it in shades of plums, purples, and lavenders.
I didn’t exactly follow the pattern for this one. I changed up several of my star block pattern centers and used some orphan blocks instead. I had some about me that I thought would compliment this quilt well and I’m thinking they did.

You’d think that purple was my new favorite color with the way I’ve been using it lately. And truth be told when I was just a girl it was my favorite.
About those orphan blocks…. One of the themes that was explored with this quilt along was how you could change up any sawtooth star block just by changing the center. My using of the 6.5″ orphan blocks did just that. I used blocks from my old attempt at the Farmer’s Wife quilt which predates this blog. I think I had gotten 13/111 blocks completed or something like that. I also used up several blocks that were left over from my second Landslide quilt.
