About Soulshine Quilt

I am just ridiculously happy to be working with my new Cinnamon Tea fabrics. And I always LOVE a quilt with stars. You can really see how different this is going to look from my last moodier version. This Soulshine is lighter and brighter.

This is also a pretty quick pattern. There are lots of flying geese, but once you get past those, it’s smooth sailing.

The whole time I was making this one, I was dealing with a small pesky health issue that was causing some lack of sleep. This directly affected my geese. I made a pretty big error with them. It doesn’t show TOO BAD, but if you look closely you’ll see it.

That’s okay though! Stuff happens and we roll with it.

This Version

I’m using 15 of the Cinnamon Tea fabrics for the foreground and Vanilla Cream as my background. I plan on backing this one with more than likely this fabric or this one, or maybe a combo of several of the Earthy Goodness prints.

The Plan

I’m going to quilt very similarly to the way I did the original version, except I’m going to do pointed petals instead of round ones.
