Lulu Louise Quilt #2 – Cinnamon Tea – Quilt Reveal
Lulu Louise Quilt in Cinnamon Tea Fabrics
I finally dug through my WIP pile and got something done from it! Granted this one has only been languishing a handful of months. Still, it’s from the WIP pile, so it counts as a finish from it! We have to take the wins when we can get them…

About this Lulu Louise
This is the quilt that I made with all of you during the quilt along. I think we worked on it for five weeks. I made it using my Cinnamon Tea fabrics (these fabrics will be back in stock this coming fall, but there’s a preorder option if you are interested).
Anyway, Lulu is such a basic design, but striking I think. I particularly like the ombre effect with the fabrics. That’s twice I’ve done that on this quilt and I don’t see me making it any other way.
For the quilting on this one, I did running feathers in a V shape along the foreground. For the background I made lazy Ss in a vine shape. I put a tutorial up a few days ago for the quilting if you are interested in trying it yourself.

I think this is my most favorite quilt ever. I know I say that a lot, but this one REALLY is my favorite. I’m going to put it on my bed, well, sideways anyway. It’s a twin size quilt and I have a queen size bed. Once I finish all the quilt alongs we have scheduled for this year, I’m going to start focusing on some larger proper queen size quilts.
Just even thinking about quilts that big makes me UGH, but I need them to fit the beds, you know. And I currently have a huge stack of throw quilts… 🙂
Beautiful quilt. Will you be making more bundles for the Lulu Louise Quilt?
Yes, I’ll try to make a few more soon. Any particular color palette?
