HELLO POSY QUILT PATTERN
beginner
Did you make flower crowns as a child? Gather a posy, and then use your fingernail to make a slit in the stem, where you’d then push a flower head through. It was magic when it was taught to me. I wrote Hello Posy quilt pattern to remember that childhood memory.
I love the simple cuteness of this design. I wanted to create a flower shape that would lend itself to intricate quilting on the “petals”. This pattern is more block-based with sashing and borders, so that you could have a more scrappy low volume look within the flowers’ background.
