Work in Progress – Star Dance #4 – The jazzy blue one

I’ve been working the past several weeks on a gargantuan quilt.  We are talking a big ol’ 96″ square.  Yah!  And it’s all half square triangles too!

This is my fourth Star Dance quilt.  You can see the others here.

This is also a free pattern of mine that you can find here.

This was originally a quilt designed for a quilt along I ran for Coats and Clark several years ago.  It’s an easier pattern.  Perfect for beginners and can really push you into getting better with your HST making since it has so many of them.

This is a commission quilt for me and I was given the color blue to work with, but I did get to choose the color palette.  So I chose different shades of blue, some greens, a touch of turquoise and gray and a pop of peach too.

It’s always nice to step outside of your own preferred color palette and do something different.

Patchwork + Quilt (a class for learning to quilt)

Are you learning to piece quilts?  Are your blocks the wrong size, wonky, or leaving you frustrated?

I designed this course to help with all those hair pulling moments and more.  There’s video tutorials every step of the way as I walk you through making a quilt.  Maybe this is your first quilt or maybe you are just frustrated and need to take a class to help you learn the correct way of piecing.  This class has everything!  It also comes with two quilt patterns.  Click the tab below to find out more!

So many fabrics used in this one.  Something like 32 of them, I think.  More if you count the background.  I’m not going to take the time to list them all, but you can find them all available in my fabric shop at Meander + Make.

I should be quilting this one up in the next day or so and have it finished soon.
