Our Task

This round we are completing the Inspiration Collage.  I love this part of the quilt because there is room to be you and get creative.  It’s fun!  Raw edge applique is so freeing.  There’s no rules, just play.

For mine (above) I once again used the adhesive paper for applique.  I really like this method because I don’t have to stitch over until I’m finished with the quilt and quilting.  It’s easy peasy.  I used Sarah Watt’s Sante Fe horse panel for the main event and for the rising sun I used Peach Sherbet solid.  I toyed with adding some flowers to the bottom like I did in my last Anthologie, but I’m going to hold off until I’m sure.  I really like the way it is now. 🙂
